Requesting a Modification to an Agreement
AFTER you have received an agreement, you can request a modification to your agreement for the following reasons:
- You have made updates to your company and/or resource information and wish to capture those changes in your agreement
- You wish to add to or change an existing EFT associated with the agreement (available only through Standard and/or Extend Modification, Rollover Modification, or Inspection Correction Modification)
- You wish to withdraw a resource
- You wish to replace a resource
- You wish to cancel an agreement
Business Rules for Modifications
Before requesting a modification, be sure you note the following business rules that apply to modified agreements.
- Regardless of the type of modification, you CANNOT change the VIN/Unique ID for a resource that is on an agreement. If a resource on an agreement has an incorrect VIN/Unique ID, you will need to use Replace Resource option in the Agreement Modification Response wizard. For more details, see "Changing the VIN, Unique ID, or Serial Number for a Used Resource".
- For company changes on a modification:
- For standard and/or change end date modifications, inspection correction modifications, and administrative modifications, company changes, except to LSA or Small Business status, will be picked up with a modification.
- For rollover modifications and resource type correction modifications, all company changes, including LSA or Small Business status, will be picked up.
- For resource attribute, Dispatch Center, and Price changes on a modification:
- For standard and/or change end date modifications, you CANNOT change the Dispatch Center or Prices (Rates) for your resource. If you made attribute changes, the original attributes will be used for the DPL ranking -- NOT the new attributes.
- For rollover modifications and resource type correction modifications, you CAN change the Prices (Rates), Dispatch Center, and attribute changes. ANY changes you make will be used to determine the DPL ranking.
- For inspection correction modifications, you CANNOT change the Dispatch Center or Prices (Rates). However, any attribute changes you made will be applied to the DPL ranking.
- If the updates you made to the resource changes the resource category type from what it is on an agreement, then the resource will be disqualified from the agreement. Contact your Contracting Officer to discuss the disqualified resource; you may be able to request a resource type correction modifications.
